God called Franco back home February 16, 2021 at the age of 63. He will never be forgotten by his adoring wife Maria. Loving father to Cristina (Mark Spizzirri), Marco (Regina Saravo), and Natasha (Jonathan Colangelo). Cherished Nonno to Franco, Domenic, Elena, Giovanni, and Valentina. Franco was the loving son of Ermanno and Domenica, and son-in-law of Sestino and Giovanna DiDonato. Brother to Lorenzo (Marisa), and Nino (Lina). Franco will be held dear in the hearts of his many relatives and friends. Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre (8003 Weston Rd. 905-850-9500) on Monday February 22, 2021 from 3-9 p.m. by reservation only, a family password is required. The visitation will be livestreamed, which you can access by contacting the family. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated virtually on Tuesday February 23, 2021 at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave., Vaughan, Ontario). Unfortunately due to covid, only immediate family members may attend the entombment, however the cemetery will be open to public for guests to pay their respects at a later time.

Now that York Region has moved to a “Lock Down”, public visitations will allow a maximum of 10 people in the funeral home. All attendees must be scheduled by appointment only. Scheduling will be arranged through our website. Please click on the blue RSVP button below under « visitation details ». A family password will be needed in order to RSVP a time slot for the visitation.
We would kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact.
Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.
