Munroe Francine Dorothy, December 11, 1957- November 4, 2021. It is with great sorrow our family mourns the sudden passing of Francine at the age of 63. Born in Sober Island and moved to Halifax as a child. She will be remembered lovingly by her lifelong partner David Walker, sisters Judy (Ronald) McNair, Ruth Aldrich, Elizabeth (Eugene) Crosby, Leola Behie, Alberta
Murray, brothers Lyndel (Angela) Munro and Graham (Eunice) Munroe, brother’s-law Stanley Aldrich, Donald Behie and Doug Murray, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father Harry Donaldson Munro, mother Dorothy Ina (Boutilier) Buchanan, brothers Locke, Harry, Glenard and Barry, sisters Gladys and Bonnie. She was a client of the Metro Community Housing Association (MCHA). Francine was so kind and would help others in any way that she could.
She lit up a room whenever she was around.
She was always well dressed and took great pride in her appearance.
She had diplomas in secretarial work and hair design
She enjoyed sewing and making her clothing
She enjoyed painting and writing
She loved to watch romantic movies
Her spirit will be missed but will live on in everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. Francine may you be dancing in the sky and singing with the angels. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 25, 2021 in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen Street, Dartmouth In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Metro Community Housing Association (MCHA) or a charity of your choice. The family would like to send a special thank you to Jaclyn Strum and MCHA, for their kindness and care for Francine.
