Olive ‘Frances’ Schilbe (Watson) passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Huronview at the age of 90. Born April 17 1931.
Predeceased by her husband Earl (2010). Loving mother of Rick (Carolyn), John (Janice), Fred (Shirley), Brenda Butler (Greg). Cherished Grandma of Murray, Cory (Lindsey), Rachel (Asa), Rusty (Tiffany), Konrad (Heidi), Gwendolyn, Nicole, Kristopher (Tina), Stephanie (James), Tanya (Berton), Katie (Mike), Jake (Alisha), Jenna (Jon), Mandy (Mark), and Kristy (Tim).
Proud Great Grandma of 24. Survived by her sister Jean Schroeder and her family and the extended Schilbe family. Predeceased by her parents Allan and Olive Watson, brother
Ivan Watson, daughter in law Grace and great granddaughter Olivia.
She enjoyed her life on the farm. Along with Earl they made maple syrup and had an extensive market gardening business for a number of years. When work was done they
enjoyed travelling and never missed a dance. But her greatest love was her family and visiting with them all as often as she could. The family would like to express their
gratitude to the wonderful doctors and truly amazing staff at Huronview.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Ronald McDonald House would be greatly appreciated.
Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID restrictions, a private family funeral service will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 with a celebration of life at a later date.
