Francesco Martire passed away peacefully on October 8th, 2021 at the age of 97. Dearly loved husband of the Late Annina. Loving father of Eraldo and his wife Mary, Salvatore, Carlo and his wife Liana. Cherished Nonno of Francesco and his wife Nadia, Robert and his wife Laura, Anna and her husband Vince Caputo, Sandro and his wife Erica, Paolo and his wife Joanne, and Cristina. Dear great-grandfather of Elsa, Simon, Daniel, Lucas, Sophia, Remi, Giuseppe, Mila, Luca, Avelene, Olenna and Emma. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives and many friends. Visitations will take place at DeMarco Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road. 905-850-9500) on Tuesday, October 2-4pm & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at St. David’s Parish (2601 Major MacKenzie Drive West, Maple, Ontario) at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst Street, North York, Ontario).
As the restrictions and guidelines continue to lift, all family and friends are welcome to come to the Funeral Home during the visitation periods. There will be no RSVP needed to enter the Funeral Home. When coming into the Funeral Home, please sign the «Guest Book» and write your phone number down beside your name for contact tracing purposes, before entering our visitation suites. Our staff will be constantly sanitizing and monitoring the Funeral Home if any assistance is needed.
We kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact. This also includes the church and the cemetery.
Please note that it is mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.
We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the Funeral Home on the morning of the funeral, as we ask everyone else to pleasure meet us at the church.
As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.
