BOWES, James Everett –
Passed away peacefully at Georgetown Hospital on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the age of 97. Dearly beloved husband of the late Maureen Bowes (nee Pickering) & companion of the late Joan Wren. Loving father of Jim (Barbara), Dan, Julie (Don) Gillett & the late Philip. Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Jeff, Ashley, Justin, Julia, Alicia & Brandon & great grandfather of Zachary, Leah, Charles & Ella.
Everett was born in Perth, Ontario; he was a retired stationary engineer with Ontario Hydro, antique car enthusiast, a “forever“ Toronto Maple Leaf fan and a long-standing member of the Knights of Columbus!
We wish to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Amica Georgetown team especially Charlene his special “shining” caretaker, Michelle & Dr. Bartlett.
Friends will be received at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), Etobicoke on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 12-1 p.m. Due to covid restrictions a private family service will be webcasted at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation, Knights of Columbus or charity of your choice.
