Evelyn Levenia Daley
1937-2021
Evelyn Levenia Daley, 83, of
Lakeview Manor passed away peacefully on March 23rd, 2021 at the
home.
Evelyn was born in Midway,
Albert County on June 14, 1937 the daughter of the late Vaughn and
Daisy Douthwright.
Evelyn had a special place in
her heart for Seniors and was a beloved caretaker to many.
She worked at Forest Dale Nursing Home for most of
her career. She had an adventurous spirit
combined with her caring personality. This took her to Bermuda where
she spent several years caring for Lorna and Molly.
When in Bermuda she also found time to join the
Bermuda Zoology Club. She loved sunny Bermuda and
was blessed to have some of her friends join her there.
Evelyn loved her family and always enjoyed getting together
to share lots of laughs over the years. She was always there
for her children and grandchildren whenever they needed
anything. She always kept in contact whether she was near or
afar so she could keep a watchful eye on them.
Evelyn’s smile and generous heart will live with
us forever.
She will be deeply missed by
her daughter, Audrey Wilson of Osborne Corner; sons, Kenneth Daley
(Donna) of Midway and Stephen Daley (Bernadette) of Kentville, NS; her
treasured grandchildren, Julie, Adam, Alicia, Carrie, Shelby-Lynn,
Marshall and Denver and by her several precious great grandchildren;
sister, Brenda Collins (Gary) of Germantown; sister-in-law Pauline
Keirstead. She will also be missed by her nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents she was
predeceased by her husband, Aubrey Daley; infant brother,
Elroy; brothers, Gerald, Ronald and Leo; sister Lillian and
son-in-law, Bradley Wilson.
There will be a time of Public
visitation on June 8th, 2021 from 7-9pm at the Albert County Funeral
Home. A Private Memorial service and
Celebration of her Life will take place at a later date.
Interment will take place in the Hopewell Cemetry, Hopewell Hill,
NB.
