Obituary
Peacefully passed away on Monday, October 4th, 2021at the Wesburn Manor, Etobicoke at the age of 100. Predeceased by her beloved husband Andy, daughter Helen Hawman and grandson Paul Hawman. Survived by her loving son Ed Balazs (Fran), sister in law Irene Nyisztor (Jimmy) and Olga Stieger. Ethel will be dearly missed by her grandson to Mark Hawman (Diana) and nephew Louis Breza (Mary). A special thanks to the staff at the Wesburn Manor for their wonderful care. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (at 14th St., between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Tuesday, October 12 from 12 to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will begin in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Springcreek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Messages of Condolence may be placed at www.RidleyFuneralHome.com.
