Obituary of Emmeline Jeffrey
It is with sadness, that we the family are announcing the passing of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Emmeline Jeffrey that occurred at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on June 17, 2021.
Born January 11, 1933, in Grand Anse, she was the daughter of the late Murdock and Sadie MacRae.
Emmeline is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Albert John Jeffrey; daughters, Mary Wilson, Michelle McIntosh (Robert), both of Dartmouth, Marcia Murine (Gary), Lower Sackville; sons, John (Charlene), Spruce Grove, Alberta, Murdock (Mona), Edmonton; grandchildren, James, Christopher, Alexandra, Treena, Dale and Alex; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Evelyn, Christopher and Landon; sisters, Murdena Skinner (Bobby), and Sadie Smith, both of Dartmouth.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be no visitation or funeral service per request.
A private family committal will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Hospital Health Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
