Mr. Elton Malmo passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the age of 89 years. Elton was born in the cold of winter at Rife, Alberta to Sverre and Frances Malmo. He grew up in New Norway, Alberta until he graduated, then worked in the Oil Industry for forty-one years. He spent his later years in Red Deer, Alberta, with the last two years being wonderfully cared for by the staff at Villa Marie Covenant Care Home. Elton was a quiet, gentle friendly giant of a man who loved his wife and children and their children with all his heart. Elton will be lovingly remembered by his wife Janet of 64 years, son Garry (Viv), daughter Pam (Wayne), five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. A Celebration of Elton’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
