Elsie E. Kenney
1946-2021
Elsie Elizabeth Kenney, 74, of Riverview, NB,
passed away peacefully on July 1st, 2021, at the Moncton City Hospital
with her loving children by her
side.
Elsie had a compassionate heart always
willing to help others. She was devoted to her family, who she loved
unconditionally. She was an amazing Mom and Nan. She enjoyed a close
bond with her siblings, nieces, and nephews, with frequent phone calls
and family gatherings when possible. Elsie’s pride and joy
was her grandson Colby, who she loved to brag about and spend time
with.
Elsie was born
on July 12th, 1946, the daughter of the late Myles and Theora
(Matthews) Porter.
Her children
will deeply miss her, Stephen Kenney of Moncton and Lorie-Ann Carson
(Willis) of Riverview; treasured grandson, Colby; sister, Verna
Steeves of Hillsborough; brothers, Esmond Porter of Germantown and
Donald Porter (Marilyn) of Riverside-Albert; her nieces and nephews,
Bonnie Rossiter (Bob), Rolly Steeves (Zsuzsi), Colleen
Steeves-Sutherland (Bert), Phillip Porter (Barb), and Pam Porter
(Dominique). Several great-nieces and nephews will also miss
her.
Besides her
parents, she was predeceased by brothers Arthur and Claude (Eleanor);
brother-in-law, Ottis Steeves; sister-in-law, Marilyn Porter; nephews
Gary, Reggie and niece, Sharon.
A Memorial
Service will be held on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 with Rev. Carol
Mullin officiating. Due to COVID-19, seating is limited. Please call
the Albert County Funeral Home to reserve a seat. Interment will be
held at the Alma United Cemetery, Alma,
NB.
In

be made. All are appreciated.
