Eleanore Gordon Wednesday February 17th 2021

Eleanore Jean (McEachern) Gordon of Harriston passed away peacefully at Palmerston Hospital on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, in her 90th year.
Loving mother of Brenda and Randy McBeth of Markdale. Cherished grandmother of Rob McBeth, and Jocey McBeth. Proud great-grandmother of Asha, Aren, Blake, and Leah. Predeceased by husband Donald Gordon and daughter Janice Gordon.
Eleanore was the Clerk for the Town of Harriston for many years. She was blessed with a very active life, dedicated to caring for people and her community. She was a strong supporter and regular participant in all community events in Harrston and the surrounding area. She never missed a tea or fundraising dinner. Eleanore was a member of Harriston United Church for over 60 years. She was an active card player, and loved the game of curling.
A private family funeral service will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Monday, February 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jessica Cottrell officiating.
Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Harriston United Church or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Palmerston Hospital for their care and compassion over the last few weeks.
