Edward Joseph LeGresley husband of the late Jennie (Hay) LeGresley, of Miramichi, NB, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his residence at the age of 89. Born in Chatham Head, NB, he was the son of the late Charlie and Julia “Minnie” (Russell) LeGresley. Edward was the Owner/Operator of LeGresley Trucking.
Edward is survived by: four daughters: Linda Sturgeon of Exeter, ON; Debbie Arsenault of Miramichi, NB; Susan Vankeirsblick (Brian) of Woodstock, ON; Beverly Landry (Kevin) of Miramichi, NB; one son: Kevin LeGresley (Annette Richard) of Miramichi, NB; four sisters: Yvonne Mills (Bev) of Saint John, NB; Mary Miousse of Baie Ste. Anne, NB; Leona Savoie of Tracadie-Sheila, NB; Eileen Murdock (Leo) of Miramichi, NB; one brother: Roy LeGresley of Calgary, AB; 10 grandchildren: Jennifer Martin, Marilyn Sturgeon, Stephanie Ouellet, Matthew Arsenault, Elodie Ingram, Beth Vankeirsblinck, Brad Vankeirsblinck, Kyle LeGresley, Kortney LeGresley and Mark Landry; 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife: Edward is predeceased by: sisters: May Chavarie, Cecilia Balser, Charlene Lanteigne; brothers: Charlie, Billy, Paul and Frank.
The family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 3-7 PM. A private Funeral Service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charlene Maguire- MacKnight officiating.
Please note: Mandatory Masks and Social Distancing Protocols will be followed.
Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery.
