Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the age of 93. Loving husband of the late Doris. Proud father of Robyn (Carl) Robinson. Dear brother of Patsy Osborne.

Ed was born in Moncton, New Brunswick on March 18, 1928. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army Service on October 23, 1950. He received basic training at Camp Borden, Ontario and then on to Fort Louis, Seattle, Washington for special training. Ed was deployed from Fort Louis to Korea as advance party, responsible for setting up First Aid posts, kitchens, field hospitals, and munitions compounds. He was one of 125 men who formed the 1st Brigade Ammunition, supplying munitions to the front line where he also engaged in combat duties. He returned to Canada and was discharged from Canadian Forces in May, 1953. Ed was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 in Sudbury and was part of the Veterans Group who meets at Branch 220 in Shelburne regularly.
