Earle’s Obituary
Pauley, Earle Vaughn – 60, West Pugwash, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at the QEII Hospital, Halifax surround by his loving family. Born in Springhill, he was the son of Janet (MacLeod) Pauley, Pugwash, and the late Vaughn Pauley. Earle had been a lobster fisherman for the past 40 years and had also served as a harbor pilot for 27 of those years. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. Earle enjoyed listening to music of all genres, playing his guitar and family game nights. Earle adored his granddaughter and every moment he spent with her. Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Darlene (Sarson) Pauley; daughter, Brittany Pauley (Brandon Mattinson), Beckwith; son Justin Pauley and his fiancée Sara Coulter, Wentworth; granddaughter, Elyse Mattinson; sisters, Lisa (Gordie) Benjamin, Wallace Bay; Jennifer (Steven) Jamieson, Pugwash; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Vaughn Pauley. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept 16, 2021, at Mundle’s Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash.
