Ealfeen ( Effie) Belmore
September 8, 1940 – June 2, 2021
Ealfeen (Effie) Belmore passed away on June 2-2021 at Lacombe Hospital at the age of 80. Ealfeen was raised in Clive area by her parent’s Emil and Natalie Pohl. She married Wilfred Belmore on April 21, 1958 and together they resided in Lacombe. Ealfeen survived by her two children, Marian Lacey (Keith), Allan Belmore (Dana); Her grandchildren, Chantelle Lacey, Jamie Lacey, Taryn Belmore, Brayden Belmore, Logan Belmore, Jay Belmore, Evan Belmore, Keegan and Callen Belmore and first great granddaughter, Kallie Lacey; Her brother, Sid Pohl; Her sister, Rose Nelson; Brother, Almie Pohl (Barb); Sister in law, Willie Stebner; Brothers in law, Joe and Marcel Belmore and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Belmore in 2019; Her parents, Emil and Natalie Pohl; Her brother’s, Sig and George Pohl; And sister’s Lucil Willington and Sophie Pohl.
Effie enjoyed her years working at the Advisor in Red Deer, until she retired. She loved her morning coffee at A&W, and loved watching the Oilers hockey games. She enjoyed the family gatherings with her children and grandchildren, who she loved so very much. A few weeks ago she got to meet her first great granddaughter for a short time and it was love at first sight.
A private family service will be held June 8, 2021 at Lacombe Cemetery and if family friends wish to pay their respects there will be a viewing at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel, June 8, between 10am-12pm.
