It is with great sorrow and heavy heart that we announce the passing of Martial Duval on February 23, 2021 at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of Julie Duval (DiGiovanni) for 64 years. Devoted father and father-in-law to Lisa (Michael) and Marissa. Grandfather to Jamie and Jody.
Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marie-Andrée (Markus), Joseph DiGiovanni, the late Susan DiGiovanni (Bloom), the late Serge Duval, the late Margot Duval (Greffard), the late Lorraine Pierce (Duval) and the late Robert Pierce.
Uncle to Geraldine (Mark), Robert, Andrea (Dave), Erica (Drew), Joanne (Andrew), Debra, Michael (Alice), Renėe (John), France, Chantale and Martin.
While devoted to his family and experiencing a successful business career he found an additional source of strength in his beloved garden, his pride and joy as well as in the arts and architecture and his several travels to Europe to which he developed a special connection.
Martial will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
Due to the current pandemic situation, a church service will be held at a later date.
