Obituary
The family of Terence Alfred Graham is sad to announce his passing on June 24, 2021. Terence was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, professor, colleague, and friend to many. He was born in Vernon, BC in 1941.
Terence is survived by his loving family: wife Britha (nee Muderspach), son Glen (Rhanda), grandchild Ellie, sister Fay (Ken), brother Barry (Peggy), stepmother Edna, sister-in-law Elsebeth (Arne), step-sister Michaelan (Dave), as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Terence was predeceased by his father George, mother Gladys, brother Ronald, sister Patricia, and stepbrother Patrick (Rhonda).
Terence dedicated his life to teaching. He was Professor of History for over 30 years at Burman University and he also taught in Denmark where he lived for 11 years.
Terence played many sports in his younger days and continued following sports and sporting teams he loved. In his later years, he enjoyed playing golf with many friends and relatives. Terence was an avid reader, traveler, and a close follower of current events and history.
Teaching was one of Terence’s greatest joys and contributions. His students and his colleagues often marveled at the depth and breadth of his knowledge of history. A quiet man, Terence was a caring, thoughtful, patient, and helpful husband, father, professor, colleague, and friend.
A celebration of Terence’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the College Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lacombe. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no reception will be held after the service.
