Doug AkA Bup held many jobs over the years. He was a man of many talents. He farmed his land and took great pride in his large gardens where he grew vegetables for himself his family and his community. Bup spent countless hours in the woods cutting firewood for the upcoming winters or sawing lumber in his mill. Bup took on many projects none being to big or small to give a shot. He used his lumber to build many homes in his community of White Hill with the help of his wife Cline and anyone else who stopped by for a visit. Sometimes these projects took a long time because with every visit came a hot cup of tea and a long talk.
Bup was great talker great listener and great advice giver. Everyone who entered his door was always welcome. He was a true family man, friend and neighbor. his church was a big part of his life where he took an active role in all that took place. Bup enjoyed writing and playing his own music especially when he got to play with his son and grandsons. As time moved on Bup enjoyed sitting by a warm fire in the company of his great grandchildren who were the apple of his eye. Bup was always there to lend a hand, first to come and last to leave.
