Douglas Wayne Getty, husband of Marie (Richard) Getty of Bryenton NB, passed away Saturday November 20, 2021 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 74.
Born in Leamington ON, he was the son of the late Harold and Mildred (Hillier) Getty. He was a retired RCMP and Federal Corrections Officer, a member of the Anglican Church, he was an avid I.P.S.C member and a member of Miramichi Sportsman Club.
Besides his wife Marie, he is survived by one stepson, Jaret Caissie of Moncton, two sisters, Connie Ware (Larry) of Kingsville ON and Terry Johnstone (Rob) of Leamington ON, two brothers, Randy Getty of Leamington ON and Mel Getty (Crystal) of Tillsonburg On, two grandchildren, Seth Caissie and Amber Breau.
At Doug’s request, there will be no visitation or Funeral Service.
