Douglas Leo Cullen

It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas Leo Cullen,
resident of Mackenzie, British Columbia, announces his passing after a
brief illness on March 23, 2021 at UHNBC in Prince George, British
Columbia at the age of 67 years old.
A native of Johnville, New Brunswick, Doug was a hardworking and well
respected electrician for over forty years. He loved music, history
& geography and the changing colours of the autumn maple leaves.
His favorite pastimes included: having spirited debates with anyone
who would engage him, going for country drives, picking fiddleheads in
the spring and spending time with his beloved westie Molly.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marla, and his children
Jason, Beth-Ann (Monty) and Jennifer (Jared). He will also be fondly
remembered by grandchildren: Jenny Lynn, Nicole, Kori, Angelee,
Jaidenne, Stephanie, Brandilyn, Kathryn and Nathaniel, and great
grandchildren: Kaleb, Rylee and Theo.
In addition, he is survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces and
nephews. Doug was predeceased by his parents Frances and Peter Cullen
of Johnville, NB, brothers: Emery, John and Joe. As well as his eldest
daughter and light of his life, Jo-Ann Frances Cullen who passed in
2008.
He is rejoicing to be “Crocodile Rocking” with her once
again in Heaven.
Due to Covid restrictions no funeral will be held at this time. A
celebration of Doug’s life will be scheduled for a later date.
