Conners, Dorothy Sarah (Kingsley)
Dorothy passed on peacefully in Kingston in the presence of family on July 10, 2021 in her 87th year. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 62 years, Furne. She was a loving mother to her son Dale, daughter Deborah, and daughter-in-law Kate. She was predeceased by siblings Ona, Elva, Beatrice, Beulah, Howard, Wilson, Lorne, John, Reggie, Ralph and her parents Ella ( Shaw ) and Paul Kingsley. Dorothy was, in her time, an active member of the United Church Women (UCW), enjoyed painting and crafts, sewing and other handiwork. She sang her way through life. The family thanks the staff at the Trillium Care Centre in Kingston for their generosity and compassion. Friends may call at the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 12:45pm until time of service at 1:30pm. In person attendance is by registration on the funeral home website at www.hpmcgarry.ca. For those wishing, the service will also be live streamed and can be accessed by clicking on the link provided below. Interment will follow at the Oxford Mills United and Presbyterian Cemetery.
