Dorine Daigle
1937-2021
RICHIBUCTO, NB – It is with great sadness that the
family announces the peaceful passing of Dorine Daigle 83, of
Richibucto, at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont University Hospital Center in
Moncton on Sunday, March 14, 2021. Born in
Richibouctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Allain
and late Edmée (Thibodeau)
Allain.
Before retiring, Dorine was a school teacher at the
Richibucto High School (1960-1962), worked for the school board in
Richibucto and as an administrative assistant at the
Richibucto-Village Elementary School for many years.
Dorine’s favorite pass time was painting, spending many
hours creating beautiful works of art or occasion cards for her many
friends. She also devoted much of her time volunteering at
her church.
Dorine will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 59
years, Irving Daigle of Richibucto; two daughters, Diane Sock (Harold)
of Richibucto, Phyllis Daigle Stairs (Peter) of Woodstock and two
cherished grandchildren, Melissa Sock (Jason) and Jonathan Sock both
of Moncton.
She is also survived by one sister, Rose Dupuis (late Gerard)
of Gardner, MASS; sisters-in-law, Theresa Robichaud (late Frank),
Lucille Daigle (late Charlie) both of Richibucto and many nieces and
nephews she loved dearly and an abundance of
friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister,
Adrienne and four brothers, Livain, André, Edouard and
Emile.

on.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Wednesday from 7-9 pm (only). A Funeral
Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the
St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in
Richibucto.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home
