Donald Faries
The family announces with great sorrow his passing on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Bertha Faries (nee Linklater). Loving father of Chad Faries, Lisa Faries-Gagnon (Peter), Robert Faries (Lucy), and Sacha Lostun, who was like a son to Donald. Cherished grandfather of Marissa, Brianna (Bailey), Tanner, Kara, Jordan, Heather, Kayla, Shae-Lyn and Mya. Proud great-grandfather of Emma Grace. Dear brother of Daisy (late Doug) Worth, Michael (late Judy) Faries, Kathy (Roy) Faries-Quachegan and his sisters-in-law Barbara Faries and Karen MacDonald. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Donald is predeceased by his parents Gilbert and Nellie Faries and his brothers Charlie Faries and George MacDonald.
The funeral service and burial will take place in Moose Factory. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
