Colpitts, Donald Terris “Terry” – Tatamagouche: It is with great sadness to announce the passing of my brother, Donald “Terry” Colpitts at the age of 77 at his home on April 16, 2021. Born in Tatamagouche, January 29, 1944, he was the son of the late Howard and Winnifred (Tattrie) Colpitts. He is survived by a sister, Darlene (Angus) Hill, Upper Onslow; a brother, Dean (Darlene Hayter) Colpitts, Debert: several nieces and nephews. Donald joined the Black Watch in 1962 and received an honorable discharge in 1969. He joined the CBC and worked there for twenty-four and a half years and after retiring from there he made his home in Debert. He then worked in security at the Colchester Regional Hospital and the Cobequid Pass. Later, he moved to live in Tatamagouche until his passing. As with his wishes, cremation has taken place. No visitation or funeral service to be held and burial will be at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
