Diane Drew (nee Chute), of Hanover, passed away suddenly at Hanover and District Hospital on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She was 67.
Born on April 6, 1953 in Port Hope, Ontario to William and Audrey (nee Colling) Chute. Diane enjoyed her career as an Administrator in Human Resources for Bayer. She was married to the love of her life Terry on August 15, 1980 and they were eager to start their life together. As they settled down, they welcomed their only child, a girl, of which Diane was thrilled (and so was Terry).
Survived by her loving husband Terry Drew of Hanover. Devoted mother and best friend of Nicole Drew (Kim) of Australia and step mother of Adam (Natalie) Drew and Todd Drew (Angelique) both of Victoria, BC. Dear daughter of Geraldine Chute (nee Colling) of Durham. Dearest sister of Nadine (Greg) Parker of Durham and sister in law of Pat (Lee) Whyte . Loving aunt of Christopher (Brittany) Parker, Sarah (Chris) and great aunt of Gwendolyn, Willow and Blake. Predeceased by her father William Chute.
Due to the provincial restrictions and regulations, a private family visitation was held at Mighton Funeral Home.
