Dennis Morgan Glover passed away in his sleep at the age of 61 on Thursday, September 2, 2021. A loving father and loyal friend, Dennis’ memory will live on forever in the hearts of those he touched.
One of Dennis’ favourite pastimes was golfing with his best friend Josh. If you spoke to him recently, he probably showed you his wood burning. If you knew him at all, you’ve heard him yell GO BLUE and seen him in his Michigan attire.
Dennis was full of zest and lived every moment to the fullest from a very young age. I can hear his laugh as I type this and wonder what one liner or joke he would have made next.
Dennis’ best quality was the love he felt so deeply. His children were his pride and joy. He believed in sharing any good fortune and was known to give away his best items at the first mention someone else might use or enjoy them.
He is missed dearly by his son Dennis, daughter JoAnne, and their families. Every day will be different without him.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 11th at 12 noon in Amherstburg, 27 Bertrand Ave. In keeping with what we believe to be Dennis’ wishes, please bring photos and stories to share, so we may laugh, cry, and appreciate the life we didn’t just lose but are so fortunate to have experienced.
