Obituary
MacDonald, Dean (Jim) The family of Dean (Jim) MacDonald of Fredericton Junction, NB, wishes to sadly announce his passing on November 13, 2021. Dean was born in Millville, NB on July 24, 1924, to the late Clara (Good) and Clarence MacDonald. He was the loving husband and dance partner of Muriel MacDonald of Tracyville, NB.
Along with his wife, Dean is survived by family members: Dean (Karen), Marvella, Clair (Marie), Kim (Todd), Ian (Shelly), many grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
Dean was the furnace guy for over 40 years. People in the community knew that you could call him day or night and he would help if he could. Dean worked on the Mactaquac dam as a crane operator. Him and Muriel would love to go to dances, and people would comment on how striking of a couple they made on the dance floor. In his pastime he would read and sometimes play the Poker Machines and even came ahead sometimes.
Along with his parents, Dean is predeceased by two sons, Roger, and Howard. .
Abiding by Dean’s wishes, there will be no Visitation or Funeral.
The family wishes to express their profound gratitude for the compassionate care their family member has received at White Rapids Manor.
Arrangements are in the Professional Care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB (368-2413). Condolences:sunburyfuneralhome.com
