Family was top priority with Darlene and she loved them fiercely. She embraced life and didn’t back down from any challenges that presented themselves, always doing her best. She enjoyed shopping very much and the outdoors, fishing, moose hunting, snowmobiling, quad rides, motorcycling, loved campfires, packing a picnic and taking the grandchildren and their friends swimming to the beach. Singing along to worship songs, praising and thanking God for the many blessings in her life was a regular thing for her to do. Darlene had a great sense of humour and loved to make everyone laugh with just about anything. A visit with Darlene left you with a full heart and lasting memory. Darlene was very happy in her kitchen putting much love into the food she prepared for family and friends. After all, her mother, Bernice was well-known to cook and worked as a cook.
