It is with deep sadness we announce the
passing of Dara Arnold Field, age 92, of
West Apple River, NS. Dara passed away at home with family by his side
on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
Born in Apple River, NS, he was a son of
the late Arnold and Lena (Nuttal) Field.
Dara loved getting out on his side by
side especially with his dog, Lady. He enjoyed camping, playing cards
and anything to do with the outdoors.
He will be dearly missed by his partner
Erma; daughter Rosalee Field of Amherst, Brian (Sandra) of Port
Greville and Gerry (Jane) of West Advocate; step sons Stephen Clarke
of Kempt Shore, NS, Greg (Kathy) Clarke of Edmonton, AB,
step daughter Cindy (Ben) Fletcher of Springhill; grandchildren
Michael and Derek Field and Nicholas Fletcher; sisters Clara and Berna
and brother Burnell as well nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased
by his first wife Glennis and second wife Lela.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Family Funeral Centre,
70 Church Street, Amherst (902-667-8777). Honouring Dara’s wishes,
there is to be no visitation or funeral services at this
time.
