Obituary of Cory Patrick Manahan
Musician, guitar player, music producer, Cory died suddenly in Newmarket on Saturday February 6, 2021 at the age of 27 years. Beloved son of Patrick and Fotini Manahan of Keswick and grandson of Bette and Bill Moore of Sutton and of Catherine Mantas (the late Constantine Mantas) of Athens, Greece. Cherished brother of Matthew Manahan of Newmarket. Dear nephew of Patti Moore of London, Ontario, Jody Weller of Keswick, Stephen Moore of Sutton, Dawn Noel of Pefferlaw, Joanna (Paul Hatjis) of Mount Albert and Helen Giournas (George Yarovnas) of Athens, Greece. Cory will be greatly missed by many cousins and friends, especially in the music world that he loved so very much. (Current COVID-19 restrictions include the mandatory wearing of masks and adhering to social distancing protocol, allowing 10 people maximum). A private family visitation will be held at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 the Queensway South, Keswick, Ontario, on Tuesday February 16, 2021 from 11 to 12p.m., followed by the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 noon.
