Ranisau, Cornelia (Nee Jonascu):
Went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on December 23, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital at the age of 86. Cornelia was predeceased by husband Milan Ranisau in 1988. Mother to Mindra (Nelu) Balan, late Ophelia, Maria (Nelu) Banda, and George (Flora) Ranisau. Grandmother to late Michael, Matthew (Jackie), Jessica (Daniel), Jonathan (Timea), Mary (Leo), Steven (Christine), Chris (Ana), Joe (Missy) and Tina (Rui). Great-grandmother to William, Winston, Bernard, Erik, Liam, Teo, Gavin and Declan. Sister to Marioara Tera and her family. She will be missed by her many extended family and friends here in Canada and at home in Serbia.
Cornelia’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM with a prayer service to follow from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 at Romanian Pentecostal Church of God, 160 Grand River Blvd., N2A 3G6. A funeral service will be held at the church on December 29th, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment at Woodland Cemetery to follow. Guests are required to RSVP to attend the visitation and service through the funeral home website or by calling 519-749-8467. Masks are required to be worn while visiting the church premises. For anyone unable to attend, Cornelia’s services may be viewed via live stream at www.youtube.com/krpclive
