It is with extreme sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Colombe Hermance (Levesque) Webster on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, at 67 years of age. Her husband Keith was by her side with her children visiting throughout the day. During her 7-year struggle with ovarian cancer, Colombe’s resilience, perseverance and determination was inspiring. It would be wrong to say that Colombe lost her battle with cancer because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined.
Colombe and Keith, soul mates, were married for 37 years and have three children – Chantal, Scott, daughter-in-law Tasha, and Harrison as well as 3 grandchildren – Caden, Tyler and Sofie. Colombe was
devoted to her family and loved the role of being a “Nana”. Colombe made time for everyone and always provided love and support. Colombe is also survived by her beloved siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Although Colombe’s devotion to her family was foremost, she was an avid gardener, a house-proud person, a traveller, and most recently her dream came true of having a beach home on Vancouver Island which brought her peace and contentment.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gallo, Dr. Martin and everyone at BC Cancer for their extraordinary
work and dedication.
Her spirit will be with us forever.
At Colombe’s request, there will be no service and cremation has been carried out by the Burquitlam
Funeral Home. The family will have a celebration of Colombe’s life at a later time.
