The light in our lives that was the soul of Colleen Rachelle Patron passed on to the next part of her soul’s journey on Nov 10th, 2021. She blessed us with 61 years on this earth and passed peacefully at Sturgeon Hospital with her husband at her side. We would like to extend our appreciation to the wonderful people at the Sturgeon who cared for her, and for us, with loving care.
Colleen’s soul will be joining her parents, Arlene and Edward, and her sister Anita, who she missed dearly. There are others she will be joining that she loved dearly and there will be a joyous reunion of all of their souls.
Remembering and missing her here on earth are many of us. Colleen is survived at home by her sons Daniel and Dylan and her husband Gary. She is survived by her siblings Jody, Ross, and Edward. Colleen’s extended family and friends will miss her conversations, caring ear, and loving guidance.
Colleen was proud of all of family and friends’ accomplishments, and we will miss her support and encouragement for us to be the best we could be.
Colleen had an interesting and varied life. Her first 20 years were in the Vancouver area. I believe she was born in Surrey on January 9th, 1960.
After she finished school, she worked in the music production field, helping to produce some of the hit songs of the time.
She was married for a short time and has two step-children, Christine and Josh, who she loved dearly and was as proud of their accomplishments as her own sons.
In the 90s, Colleen met Gilles and had 2 sons, Daniel and Dylan. Those 2 boys were her reason for living for the last 26 years.
In 1998 she met Gary and in 1999 moved to Edmonton, Alberta. For the next 22 years she devoted her life to providing a good home for Daniel, Dylan and Gary.
She made many friends in her life and loved them all. She was a friend and sometimes, second mom, to many of the boys’ friends.
Colleen’s love for her friends and family, will be remembered fondly.
A Memorial for Colleen will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home in St. Albert, 9 Muir Drive.
