Christine Coleman passed away peacefully with family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services in Meaford on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in her 77th year.
Born in Meaford on February 11, 1945, Christine was the daughter of the late Christopher and Marion (nee Shortt) Clarke.
She was the much loved and cherished wife of Brad Coleman of Meaford.
Christine was the proud mother of David Coleman (Karen) of Edmonton, AB and Chris Coleman (April) of Meaford, and will be remembered fondly by Jesse.
She was the dear sister of David Clarke (Darlene) of Meaford and was predeceased by her brother Ted and will be remembered fondly by her sister-in-law Valorie of Elmira and by her nieces and their families.
Christine was predeceased by her sisters-in-law Sharon Nicholls (late Derek) and Donelda Coleman.
Christine was very thoughtful and enjoyed helping others and volunteering whenever she could. She worked for many years at the Meaford Library and then at Georgian Bay Secondary School as a skilled office administrator. Christine and Brad enjoyed life and loved to entertain and spend time with their friends, both at home in Meaford and vacationing in Florida with both old and new friends.
Cremation has taken place and private family arrangements will follow.
