Clifford’s Obituary
Cameron, Clifford Murray – age 91 passed away April 17, 2021 at his home in Balfron. Born in Balfron, he was a son of the late Archie E. and Anna C. (Murray) Cameron. Clifford worked in the maintenance department of the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital in Tatamagouche for twenty years as well as painting part-time. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 64 in Tatamagouche and a past member of Morley Bentley’s Men’s Choir. His main concern was always his family and enjoyed knowing what was going on their lives. He was loved and respected by those who knew him. Surviving are his sons, David and Joey, both of Balfron; daughters, Debbie (Everett) Dunphy, Balfron and Joyce (Harold Jamieson), Port Howe; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sons-in-law, Peter Duggan, Malagash and Kenny Anderson, Balfron; sister, Barbara Rockwell, Lower Truro; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Alma Mae (Stewart) Cameron; daughters, Linda Duggan and Susan Anderson; brother, William “Bill” Cameron and wife, Shirley; sisters, Donalda Ferguson and husband, Baillie; Ethel Hayman and husband, Lloyd; brother-in-law, George Rockwell. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. A public celebration of Clifford’s life will be announced when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Memorial donations to Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Foundation, Tatamagouche Legion, The Falls Cemetery or Balfron Cemetery would be appreciated.
