Obituary
It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Claudette Cayer (Levesque) on December 13, 2021, at the age of 81. She is survived by her loving husband Jean-Guy and her devoted son, Luc (Johanna). She will also be lovingly remembered by her brother Gerald and sister Suzanne. For those who had the privilege of sharing her life and love, Claudette’s beautiful giving spirit will be deeply missed. While her joyous laugh will no longer be heard here, it’s no doubt ringing in the heavens. She will continue her journey accompanied by loved ones who have predeceased her. Her mother Elizabeth, her father Florien, and her sister Carmene and brother Jacques. A nursing career for 39 years, mainly at the Hinton Hospital, saw Claudette extend her love for people and her caring ways, bringing laughter and joy to patients and staff alike. She had the voice of an opera singer and many in the community had the honor of hearing her sing at church, weddings and funerals. Above all, Claudette’s compassion and concern for others made her a valued and trusted friend to many. She shared her heart, not only with her family, but was always there for others when needed. The memory of a good person is a blessing. Proverbs 10:7
