Claude Vautour
1946-2021
SAINT-LOUIS, NB – Claude Vautour, 75, of
Saint-Louis passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December
29th, 2021 at the Stella Maris Hospital,
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent. Born in Cap Saint-Louis, he was the son of the
late Benoit and Eleonore (Doucet) Vautour. Before retiring, Claude
worked for the Kouchibouguac National Park for over 30 years, starting
off working maintenance and then working many years as security guard,
which he was very proud of.
Claude leaves to mourn his loving wife , Diana (Hebert)
Vautour; his daughter, Murielle McIntyre (Jeff) of Moncton; as well as
the apple of his eye, his grandson whom he adored, Alexandre Claude
McIntyre.
Claude will also be sadly missed by his five sisters, Viola
Vautour (late Jim), Ethel Maillait (late Armand), Marie Hebert (late
Zenon), Carmen Bell (Ronald), all of Cap Saint-Louis and Stella
Vautour (late Roger) of Aldouane; two brothers, Elide of Richibucto
and Cloris (late Geraldine) of Cap Saint-Louis; his sister-in-law,
Laurianne of Saint-Louis; as well as his many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Claude was predeceased by his sister,
Doris and two brothers, Oscar and Yvon.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis on Friday, January 7th, 2022 from
7-9 pm and Saturday, January 8th, 2022 from
9:00 am until departure for the funeral. The funeral mass will be
celebrated on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at
11:00 am, Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50
people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home, visitors will be
required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and
government issued ID to enter the funeral home and church, masks are
mandatory and we ask that social distancing is
respected.
