It is with great sadness that the family of the late Classie Fortune announce her passing on Sunday, December 26th, 2021, at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center, at the age of 90 years.
Classie will forever be loved and remembered by her sister Marlene (George); brothers: William (Mildred) and Gerald (Cora). Many nieces and nephews, especially Alicia and Kiley, and special life long friends Marie and Victoria Gillis.
She was predeceased by her parents Sarah and Edward Fortune, her brother Leo; sisters: Unis, Ethel and Galvina; nephews: Keith, Billy, Randy and niece Bernadine.
To honour Classie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place early in the new year. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements have been made entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
