Obituary of Clarence C. Martin
It is with broken hearts the family of Clarence C. Martin announce his passing at his home on April 27th 2021 with his loving family by his side. For 58 years, he was the beloved husband of Paulette (Lunergan). And the proud father of three children Larry (Lorna) Martin of Ripples, Kimberly (Andrew) Gilmore of Fredericton, Melinda (Gerry) Daamen of Waasis and grandchildren Chelsea, Ryan, Mitchell, Eric (Molly), Allison, Miranda, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He Was born in Minto NB July 5th 1944. Clarence is the son of the late Victor and Mable (Caissie) Martin. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings Gerald, Irene and Maurice.
Clarence was a successful business man and was passionate about the forestry industry. In the early years Clarence was no stranger to holding down more than one job at a time to support his family.
Clarence was so proud of his wife and family, He always felt they were his greatest blessing. He has left a great legacy and will be dearly missed by all.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the extra-mural staff and palliative care team for the excellent care provided, with special thanks to Nurse Teri for going above and beyond.
Resting at Life Tabernacle 1644 Hanwell Road, Fredericton, NB E3C 1N3 on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 2-4pm with Funeral Service commencing at 4PM.
Interment will take place in Oromocto Pioneer Gardens Cemetery, Oromocto. For those who wish, donations made to the Minlak Training Programs Inc. or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
