Clarence “Junior” Burns of River Road, Sunny Corner, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 84. Born in Sunny Corner, NB, he was the son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Dupuis) Burns. Clarence worked as a Labourer at Heath Steel Mines and Acadia Pulp and Paper and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church and The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #90.
Clarence is survived by: six sisters: Margaret Daoust of Beamsville, ON; Bella Burns of Sunny Corner/Saint John, NB; Rita Murdock, Patsy Munro, Arlene Bryce (Dave) and Jackie Burns all of Hamilton, ON; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents: Clarence is predeceased by: four sisters: Theresa, Anna, Kay and Carmel and five brothers: Henry, John Louis, John Frederick, Vince and Danny.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank, NB on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 11 AM with Father Dan Melanson officiating.
Mandatory masks and Social Distancing protocols will be followed for the service.
Burial will take place in the St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Cemetery.
