It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Cindy Lee Van Hoogenhuize (nee Seale) on Thursday July 22nd, 2021 at the age of 63.
She was loved and will be forever missed by her husband, Bill Van Hoogenhuize. Cindy was my best friend and confidant, being around her made me a better person. Cindy was beautiful inside and out. To me her best qualities were; loving, caring, compassionate and her honesty. She was my counsellor like many of you and taught me so much about Myself. Cindy on earth was something very special and in heaven she must be an angel. Cin know I’m taking care of our fur babies Sally, Smoopy and Daisy. Until we meet again you will remain in my heart always.
Predeceased by loving parents Bessie and Bill Seale. Loving sister to Garry Seale (Pat). Predeceased by Wayne Seale brother, Wendy Seale (sister). Loving mother of Dalis Moore (Terry), Crystal Tymstra, Dylan Deslauriers (Nicole), Adam Van Hoogenhuize (Jessica), Tamara Van Hoogenhuize and Nicole Pyne. Cherished Grandma to Connor Beattie, Christopher Beattie, Makayla Moore, Caeden Espinola, Hailee Espinola, Maci Espinola and Logan Deslauriers. Predeceased by her grandchild Nya Deslauriers.
She will be remembered for her sense of humour, infectious laugh and tremendous grit. To know Cindy was to love her.
Mom enjoyed working in her gardens, all 31 of them. Her greatest enjoyment was from helping people despite her long battle of fighting cancer. She was part of natural healing groups and spent endless hours listening to others and giving advice on mutual battles with cancer, relationships, diet and exercise programs.
Cindy was truly one of a kind.
Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Simplicity Cremation.
