Charles’ Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Chuck Bissell of Enilda on Thursday July 1st, 2021 at the age of 72 years.
Chuck was born in the High Prairie Hospital, and lived in Enilda most of his life. He went to school in High Prairie until High School, which he completed at Camrose Lutherans College. Chuck attended Hinton Forestry School before working for Bissell Brothers Lumber Ltd. Chuck took a break from Bissell Brothers Lumber and moved to Athabasca, and helped out on the Minns family farm. Chuck bought land in Salt Prairie, where he built a house, and lived until his stroke in 2002. Chuck lived in JB Woods nursing home after his stroke. He lived there until his passing.
Chuck is survived by his mother, Jean Bissell (Minns); Brother Donald (Donna) Bissell; Sister Kim (Clint) Nichols; Sisters-in-law, Kathy Bissell, Peggy Bissell, Debbie Gill-Hurlbert; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Chuck was predeceased by his father, Ken Bissell; Brothers Garry Bissell, and Craig Bissell; and Nephew Kenny Bissell.
