Cesira Malnis grew up in Sacile, Italy. She married Mario Malnis (1952) and they had two children, Gerardo and Philip. Before Philip was born Mario traveled to Canada to pursue a better life for his family. Cesira had to wait three years before she joined him courageously travelling with her young sons halfway across the globe to settle in Kitimat BC. There, she worked tirelessly, caring for her family and other men that came to Kitimat before their families could join them. We rarely heard her complain. Her house was always welcoming and there weren’t many dinners that didn’t have extra guests who had just dropped in. Her faith was strong and her love for the Lord spilled over into loving others. She was a model of unconditional love to all she met. Her family extended to more than just her husband and boys. She had an indominable spirit. She looked for the good in all her circumstances and in people. She will be missed by her family but also by the countless friends and people whose lives she touched.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Cesira Malnis July 9th 2021..
