Catherine Elizabeth Kraft was born to Mary and Mathias Kraft, April 7, 1934, at Grandma Kloster’s in Tramping Lake, Saskatchewan. Cathy passed away December 1, 2021 at the age of 87 years. She was the second youngest of six children.

In 1962, Fred and Cathy bought a house from Donald Brown and moved it to the south edge of Czar. They bought a quarter behind the house, Outback is what we called it, where they raised chickens, pigs, turkeys, and milked cows. They later built a house at the same location in 1992.
Cathy worked at the Greenhead Motel in Provost for two years and then at the Provost Hospital for another two years until her car accident the Christmas of 1980.
Cathy was kept busy raising her six children, doing chores and she always had a big garden. Cathy was the glue that kept the family together and instilled in all of us the value of family.
Cathy and Fred enjoyed living in the small town of Czar until they moved to the Lodge in Wainwright and then to Points West.
Cathy was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Fred; her parents, Mary and Mathias Kraft; her sisters, Dorothy German and Rosina Stereo; and her brother, Matt.
Cathy leaves to mourn: her children Drew (Cathy) Wildeman, Brenda (Wayne) Lakevold, Debbie Bishop, Frederick (Monica) Wildeman, Sharon (Darren) Flynn, Darcy (Lori) Wildeman; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; her sister, Helen (Andy) Seitz and; her brother Steve (Julie) Kraft.
Cathy will be missed and always loved.
