Frankow, Carolyn « Carole »:
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the Village at University Gates at the age of 76.
Beloved wife of the late Gary (November 2020).
Will be missed by her sister-in-law Carol Frankow and nephew Jason Frankow.
Dear sister of Bill Guillette (Nancy Stone)
Predeceased by her parents Irvin Schultz, Grace Knechtel, James Humphrey and Elsie Guillette, sisters Arlean Pueschel and Vivienne Weaver, and brother-in-law Ronald Frankow.
Carole worked at Bell Canada, then with her husband Gary, and owned a couple of businesses, Buns Master, then Accent Signs and Awnings. Carole was office manager for several local businesses. She was a long-time member of KW Businesswomen’s Association, Amateur WineMakers of Ontario, founding member of the Corkscrew Society, Wine Judges of Canada and a longtime supporter of the Humane Society, Cat Rescue, always taking a leadership role in any group she joined. Carole spent most of her spare time at the beloved family cottage in Huntsville on Peninsula Lake, spearheading the Springside Lake Association. She was an avid reader and she loved nothing better than to share a glass of wine with friends.
A special thanks to the University Gates Staff. Carole will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Carole’s family will receive relatives and friends from 12 to 12:45 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m
