Carolyn Doris Auld, a native of Victoria, died Wednesday June 9, 2021 at Saanich Peninsula Hospital. Wife of J. Auld for 55 years, she was predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Stan Cornish and a brother-in-law R.G Auld. She is survived by her husband John, three cousins, Gary, Brian and Glen McDonald and their families, sister-in-law, Diane Auld in Calgary and her four children and their families.
While in Vancouver following John’s transfer from Victoria, Carolyn was active in flower arranging groups and teaching floral arts in addition to office work at Eatons. Upon returning to Vancouver Island, she became involved with the auxilliary at the San. Pen. Hospital (Crafty Crew – 20-year pin) and knitting and sewing groups.
In spite of Carolyn’s love of floral arrangements, flowers are gratefully declined. If anyone wishes to make a donation in her Memory, please consider groups assisting with Parkinson’s or Cancer projects.
During her struggles with cancer, excellent kind and attentive assistance was provided by the staff at the San. Pen. Hospital, this was greatly appreciated, many thanks.
