Shediac, NB – Camille J. Gautreau, 98, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021.
Born in Shediac, NB, he was the son of the late Auguste and the late Emma Gautreau (Belliveau).
Camille will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Antoinette Gautreau (Bourque); his children: David of Connecticut, USA and Karen of Holyoke, Mass; his granddaughter, Emma-Rose Huse; his two great grandchildren: Jonah and Isaac; his extended family, including his stepdaughters and stepsons; also by his nieces and nephews that was near and dear to him.
Camille was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Jean (Akerley); his second wife, Carmène (LeBlanc); his brothers: Charles, Louis, Arthur, Henri, Joseph, Emile, Aldéric, Edgar and Clarence; his sisters: Anna, Yvonne and Irène.
The family would like to say a big thank you to the Extra Mural Program in Shediac, also to the staff at the Dr. George-L.-Dumont Hospital UHC (palliative care).
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Monday, September 6, 2021 from 2pm until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel at 4pm, followed by the internment at the St-Joseph Cemetery in Shediac, where he will rest in peace with his parents. Please wear your masks.
