Burt is survived by his brother, Winston; sister-in-law, Betty; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Oman and wife, Agnes; Almon and wife, Lola; Charles and wife, Helen; Sherman; Douglas and wife, Mabel; and two brothers in infancy. No public visitation or funeral service will be held. His family will have a private interment service in South Shore Cemetery in Malagash.
