Peacefully with his family by his side, at Juravinski Hospital on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Bertilla Perusin (nee Scattolon). Loving father of Carlo (Kim), Dennis (Dana) and Adriano (Tanya). Cherished grandfather of Jordan, Jasmin, Jessica, Jacob, Ryan, Kristian, Evan, Joshua and Abigail. Predeceased by his parents Carlo and Amabile . Dear brother of Pilo (Katerina), Benny (Paula), Renzo (Daniela), Maria (the late Pilo), the late Margarita (the late Elio), the late Carla (the late Angelo), the late Bruna (the late Camilo) and the late Bertilla (Alfonso). Bruno will be dearly missed by his extended family and all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered for his love of gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. Bruno’s walking buddy, his Siberian husky is waiting for him to take her for a walk in heaven. Special thank you to Dr. Profetto, Dr. Major, nurse Sue and the staff at Juravinski for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 3-9p.m. Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Stoney Creek. Cremation to follow. In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of guests who may attend the visitation at one time. Guests are asked to please RSVP on Bruno’s tribute page, or by calling the funeral home to reserve a time to visit. All visitors are required to wear a face mask and are to remain in their cars until their allotted time. In memory of Bruno, donations to Juravinski Hospital. would be sincerely appreciated.
