We announce the passing of Bruna on November 8, 2021 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Antonio, she has joined her husband, parents Angelo Tomini and Teresa Cosolo, and her brothers Ennio and Mario, in eternal rest. Her children Clara, Rita (Frank Molinari) and David (Deana) and grandchildren Marco, Daniela, Julia, Andrew and Michael remember her lovingly. Born in Turrida (Udine), Friuli Venezia Giulia, Bruna and Tony adventured life as refugees from Italy in the late 40s, to life in Sydney, Australia, finally settling in Toronto. Bruna is remembered by a large extended family, friends and neighbours she made all along the way. She joined a bowling league, a walking group, enjoyed yoga classes, and was a proud member of the Societá Femminile Friulana. Bruna was a great cook, the acknowledged expert at gnocchi and any type of roast. We will all remember her love of singing and dancing.
We would like to acknowledge her wonderful caregivers of the last few years: Fely, Bridgette, Helen, Tessy and Sharon.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice in Bruna’s honour.
